Paraplanner and Financial Planner Level 4
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Paraplanner apprenticeship routeway equips those who are commencing their careers within the paraplanning role with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to be able to provide suitable support to financial advisers and to ensure the advice provided is suitable to the clients. The programme also provides technical support to facilitate individuals in achieving the Certificate in Paraplanning including Financial Services Regulation and Ethics (R01), Investment Principles and Risk(R02), Personal Taxation (R03) and Paraplanning (j09)In addition to technical knowledge, individuals will develop a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements of the role, how to provide quality service delivery and effective customer communication and relationships. The programme also provides a good entry point for those who may wish to move into the role of financial adviser in the future.
The Financial Planner apprenticeship routeway is designed to provide support and guidance to those wishing to develop their careers to achieve competent adviser status and provide suitable financial advice to clients. The programme will equip individuals with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to be successful in the role including all the technical knowledge elements required to complete either the Chartered Insurance Institutes’ Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or the London Institute of Banking and Finance Diploma in Financial Advice. In addition to the technical elements, individuals will learn how to manage risk, provide excellent customer service including a comprehensive understanding of the end to end advice process and display a professional and ethical attitude to both the business and clients. The programme is available to new and existing staff, including those who may have already commenced studying.
Requirements
- Must be working within the industry and completing a relevant role (or applying for relevant apprenticeship vacancy)
- Paraplanner route have not achieved more than 2 of the following CII units (or equivalent) CF1, R01, R02, R03 or J09
- Financial Planner routeway have not achieved more than 3 of the following CII Diploma units (or equivalent) R01, R02, R03, R04, R05 or R06
- Financial Planner routeway have a minimum 1 years industry experience.
